About Me

height2 rosariobcasas-nasdaq

I’m an award-winning Latinapreneur and a passionate advocate for women in tech. With over nine years of hands-on experience in data and technology-driven platforms, and more than two decades in executive roles, I've had the opportunity to dive deep into the world of Spatial Computing, both as an expert and a developer.

I’m proud to be the Co-Founder of XR Americas, BCPartners Tech, and the Brooklyn2Bogota Digital Transformation Community. I'm also a Co-founding Member of Dreamers & Doers and a Co-creator of the 4 Dimensional Quotient guide.

Throughout my career, I've served on the Advisory Boards of SXSW Pitch, XR In Learning, and The World Innovation Network (TWIN Tech). I've also been a member of the Board of Directors for the Artizen Premium VR Grant, which has allowed me to work closely with cutting-edge technology and creative communities.

Mentorship is a big part of who I am. I've been a Business Mentor at NYU's Tandon School of Engineering, the WE NYC program, Founder Institute, Harvard Ventures, Mujeres Tech at Bogota Chamber of Commerce, Women.nyc, and the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center's Mentor Makers.

Speaking engagements have taken me to TEDx, NAB Show, Augmented World Expo, The World Summit on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and many more. It's been an incredible journey, filled with opportunities to share insights and connect with innovators across industries.

In 2017, I was honored as one of the 100 World Disruptors in New York City by the World Summit on Innovation and Entrepreneurship. In 2019, Ford Motor Company named me one of the 5 "Legendary Women" in Innovation/Technology. I've also been recognized by the OBO Movement as one of the 100 Innovators of 2020. My story is featured in the books "Hispanic Stars Rising: The New Face of Power" and "Behind Her Vision: Women of New York City."

My work has been highlighted by Forbes, Crunchbase, Business Insider, NatGeo, Telemundo, and Thrive Global, among others.

Before all of this, I was the CEO of the Senseta Group, a Silicon Valley company at the forefront of Big Data, AI, and Machine Learning.

And through it all, I’m lucky to share this journey with my husband and business partner, Felipe Forero-Hauzeur.

US Hispanics represent 60 million people, 18% of the population, 12% of the country's GDP, $1.7 trillion of purchasing power, the youth population - and so on! Yet, they are often invisible, negatively portrayed, and seen as takers. Hispanics contribute so much to America; now it is time for others to see how beautiful and resilient they can be.
